Computer Lab Monitor

JOB DESCRIPTION

Work to Be Done:

Volunteers needed to monitor computer lab in order to assist during public open access hours and during youth program.

Examples of Activities:

• Troubleshooting
• Brief demonstrations to those not familiar with standard computer programs
• General monitoring of computer lab facility
• Maintaining records of clients who use the lab

Key Personal Attributes Required:

Friendly, flexible, productive team player interested in relating to culturally diverse immigrants, refugees and communities.

Qualifications Sought:

1. No previous experience necessary.
2. Only apply if seriously committed.
3. Training and orientation available as needed.

Location:

Main Office.

How often:

We need reliable help at any time Monday through Friday when our computer lab is open. Computer lab “public use” hours are Mondays/Wednesdays 10-noon, 3-5; Tuesdays/Thursdays 10-5; Fridays 10-1, 3-5. Please let us know which hours your schedule permits you to be available.
