One-on-One English Tutor

JOB DESCRIPTION

Work to Be Done:

Volunteers needed to tutor adult immigrants one-on-one in English.

Examples of Activities:

• Weekly tutoring
• Lesson planning
• Attend trainings

Key Personal Attributes Required:

Friendly, flexible, productive team player interested in relating to culturally diverse immigrants, refugees and communities.

Qualifications Sought:

1. No previous experience necessary.
2. Only apply if seriously committed.
3. 12-hour training to be completed. (paid for by agency)

How often:

Weekly.

How many hours per week:

Approx. 2 Hrs.

Length of minimum commitment sought:

Approx. 12 weeks
