Senior Physical Therapy Class – March 3rd

On March 3rd, The Golden Age Club of Chinese Mutual Aid Association held a physical therapy class for seniors. About 90 people attended this event and learned about the importance of taking care of oneself.

  In this particular class, the presenter taught people about the causes of and treatments for osteoporosis and joint pain. Also discussed was the importance of supplemental vitamin use and how it can help in the prevention and ease the pain. Finally, the importance and benefits of exercise was discussed and people’s questions were answered.

Jerrod Howe, from the US Census Bureau, talked to the people in attendance and discussed the importance of completing the census survey. Questions were asked and answered and people got a better understanding of how important the survey was to complete based upon what Jerrold said.
