Chinese Mutual Aid Association

About 140 people of all ages attended a recent medical/health workshop held here at Chinese Mutual Aid Association.  The workshop was held in the lower level of the facility and lasted just over 2 hours.

Representation came from Thorek Hospital and Ramirez Foot and Ankle Clinic.  Dr. Mike Kim from Thorek Hospital discussed diabetes  - prevention, causes, and treatments. Dr. Sam Ramirez discussed foot and ankle pains and how to treat them. Dr. Ramirez has a facility located at 5723 W Fullerton Ave here in Chicago. Dr. Mike Kim is a doctor at Thorek Hospital.
