LIHEAP is a program for low-income families that eases their energy costs. This program pays for a certain amount of their summer cooling and/or light bills. You need to meet one of the following requirements to qualify:

1)     Be at least 60 years old 

2)     Have a child less than 36 months old

3)     Have a medical condition that requires you to have air conditioning

4)     Be disabled and be able to provide required documentation regarding the disability
