Thank you for making this year's Summer Energy LIHEAP program one of the BEST years ever at Chinese Mutual Aid Association. We appreciate you stopping in Chinese Mutual Aid Association to apply for this program. It will benefit so many of you who needed assistance with your summer cooling costs. Keep checking this website for updated information regarding our winter energy assistance program. We would like to help you again with winter heating costs. Be sure to also tell your friends to stop in at Chinese Mutual Aid and complete the application when the time comes for the winter heating assitance program. We will be happy to help you in any way we can with your energy costs. Legal Advice /Social Security Advice/ Lakeland Rehabilitation Center Information - July 30th

On July 30th, from 10am until noon, the Golden Age Club will host an event that will cover the following topics: Legal Advice, Social Security Advice, and Alden Lakeland Rehabilitation Center and Healthcare Facility information. Food will be served at noon and the cost will be $6 for non-members, but free for members.

The event will be held at Chinese Mutual Aid Association in the lower level. There is only room for 100 people to attend, so if you plan to attend, please contact Johnson Wong at 773-784-2900 and reserve your place at the event.

Anti-Violence Walk - National Night Out - August 2nd

On Tuesday, August 2nd, beginning at 6:30 PM there will be an anti-violence get together at Buttercup Park located at 4901 N Sheridan Road in Chicago.

There will be Tai-Chi sessions held for seniors as well as others who want to participate. There will also be yoga sessions for younger people held in the park at roughly 7pm.

Mystic Blue Cruise - June 29th

 

On June 29th, 171 seniors, including members of CMAA's Golden Age Club, enjoyed some of Chicago's great skyline views while dining on the Mystic Blue Cruise ship.  The event was organized by Johnson Wong of Chinese Mutual Aid Association.

Medical Health Workshop - held June 17th

 

About 140 people of all ages attended a recent medical/health workshop held here at Chinese Mutual Aid Association.  The workshop was held in the lower level of the facility and lasted just over 2 hours.

Chicago Symphony Orchestra – May 10th

On May 10th, Chinese Mutual Aid Association proudly hosted the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at its facility in the lower level. A few musicians from the Orchestra played a medley of songs for the children who attended.

About 60 children took part in this festivity and got to listen to and hum along with the songs that were played. Many of the children sat in amazement as the musicians played. The event lasted for about an hour and a half.
