華人互助會、越南、柬埔寨等各會定於5月14日(星期六)連同伊州亞裔健康聯盟為社區免費提供B型肝炎抽血檢查。

時間：上午10時至中午12時。

Introduction:

Community Care Program (CCP) is supported and administered by Illinois Department on Aging (IDoA). It provides in-home and community-based services to eligible Illinois seniors aged sixty (60) or over.

Chinese Mutual Aid Association attended an event on September 25th called "Chicago Rents Right". This event brings together landlords and potential tenants in a free flowing environment so they can get together and learn more about each other. There were about 100 people in attendance in this event that helped potential tenants learn more about rental properties while the landlords learned more about potential tenants that may be wanting to move into their units.

Chinese Mutual Aid Association held its annual Asian American Family & Senior Health Fair. Last year, this was a very successful event and had alot of people in attendance. This fair was sponsored by the Illinois Secretary of State's office and joins in partnership with Thorek Memorial Hospital.

Chinese Mutual Aid Association will Process Winter Energy Assistance (LIHEAP) applications beginning September 1, 2010.
