Chinese Mutual Aid Association is seeking an experienced bilingual ESL instructor for a part-time position (10-25 hours per week) in Uptown on the north side of Chicago. Weekday and weekend availability required.
Introduction:
Community Care Program (CCP) is supported and administered by Illinois Department on Aging (IDoA). It provides in-home and community-based services to eligible Illinois seniors aged sixty (60) or over.
While much of Chicago is closed because of the snow storm, Chinese Mutual Aid Association(CMAA) is indeed open today, February 2. We suggest that you call before coming, because we will have limited services today since many of our staff members could not make it through the snow. CMAA will close at 5:00 p.m today, and all evening classes and programs will be cancelled. Also, there will be no after-school program.
CMAA will be closed on February 3 for Chinese New Year.

Chinese Mutual Aid Association is hosting its Chinese New Year Celebration of the Year of the Rabbit on February 5, 2011 at Truman College, 1145 West Wilson in Chicago (See attached flyer for more details).
The event will include our Lion Dancers, Cultural Dancers, a Folk Dancer and other entertainment. We expect Mayor Daley to attend the event in his final year as Mayor. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children under 12.
