Erika is a part-time ESL and Citizenship instructor at CMAA. In this role, she teaches classes, develops curricula for students, as well as collaborates with other instructors on professional development. Erika moved to Chicago after growing up in Tokyo, Japan and got involved in community organizing around immigrant and workers rights. Erika holds a Masters in Cultural Foundations of Education and Community Engagement.


FUN FACT | Erika speaks Spanish and Japanese, a tiny bit of Albanian, and a couple words of Kichwa.
