KIMBERLY COLE

Youth Program Coordinator

B.A. Geography from Mount Holyoke College
Geographic Information Systems Certificate from DePaul University

Kim works with the Youth Department’s after school program, Diverse Young Leaders. As a Youth Program Coordinator, Kim leads programming for the 3rd-5th grade classroom. She develops curriculum, provides academic support, and leads daily programming in the classroom. In addition, Kim also coordinates Tiger Tutor, one of CMAA’s two social enterprise programs. Tiger Tutor provides personalized, affordable tutoring to the community and beyond. It offers tutoring in the CPS High School Admissions Test, the CPS Academic Center Admissions Exam, ACT/SAT, subject tutoring, and more. 

Kim comes to CMAA with diverse experiences in teaching and community outreach. Her teaching work includes being a Youth Program Coordinator at Chinese American Service League and teaching Church School at Winnetka Congregational Church. Her community outreach work includes being an Outreach Coordinator at Coalition for a Better Chinese American Community and the office of State Representative Mark Walker, 53rd District. Kim obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Geography at Mount Holyoke College and a Geographic Information Systems graduate certificate at DePaul University.
