Lucas has served as the Education & Employment Coach since March of 2021. In this role, he works closely with the Adult Education and Workforce Development teams to provide case management services to students enrolled in CMAA’s Healthcare Employment Preparation Program. He is always on the lookout for employment and education partnerships with external organizations, too!
In his professional journey so far, Lucas has done a little bit of everything and he prides himself on having a wide range of skills to draw from in serving HEPP students. Most relevantly, he tutored ESL students, assisted individuals with disabilities in finding and maintaining employment, and volunteered in administrative roles for faith-based nonprofit organizations.
FUN FACT | Lucas holds a certificate in Culinary Arts. His background in professional cooking provided the on-the-job experience needed for his first human services job: job coaching for Goodwill of Western & Northern CT.
