Mabel joins CMAA after an extensive career in social services, adult education, and nonprofit administration. In her role as the Director of Administration, Mabel oversees Human Resources, Information Technology, and Operations. Her responsibility is to ensure administrative staff are supported in their daily duties. With her training and experience in social services and personnel management, she believes when people succeed, she succeeds.

In her free time, Mabel has volunteered for numerous nonprofit organizations, including Boys and Girls Club of Chicago, University of the People, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, OCA Greater Chicago, Voice of the People in Uptown, Year Up, Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce, TAP-Chicago, Chinese American Museum of Chicago, and Find Your Resilience. She recently served on the City of Chicago Mayor’s Office New Americans Advisory Council, and has presented at various conferences on issues related to mental health, professional development, and cultural history.
