RACHEL GREENWOOD

Rachel is responsible for teaching English classes at CMAA, including a class for those interested in entering medical professions. She values CMAA's commitment to empowering clients and staff to grow in both their education and career. She has been with CMAA since July 2018. 

 

Rachel's interest in teaching began while she was working as an AmeriCorps volunteer for World Relief Chicago. In that role, she managed volunteer tutors and assisted in ESL classrooms. Through her time there, Rachel learned that an ESL classroom can be a place of quality education, personal growth, and supportive community for both students and teachers. Since becoming a teacher herself, Rachel has taught various ESL levels varying from beginning to advanced. She enjoys each level for different reasons.

 

FUN FACT | Through her role at CMAA, Rachel has become a CPR trainer for the American Heart Association.
