Susan Patel is a first generation South Asian American born and raised in the Chicago area.  She owns "Patel Bros. Handicrafts & Utensils," an Indian handicraft and utensils store on Devon Avenue.  She is also a fashion and interior designer, the youngest woman to own a boutique on Devon Avenue, and a member of the local Chamber of Commerce.  As a member of the local Chamber of Commerce, Susan has become the voice of the community as well as a business leader.  She has done much work in the South Asian community and is excited to work with CMAA, another well-established organization that is growing and doing excellent work for the Asian American community at large.
