With a solid foundation in program management, Amien brings a detail-oriented and mission-driven approach to advancing CMAA’s dedication to providing high-quality services to diverse immigrant communities.
Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Amien holds a law degree focusing on social justice, which continues to inspire his passion for community empowerment and advocacy. At CMAA, Amien is pivotal in overseeing program staff across the Chicago and Elgin locations, managing partnerships, and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. His dedication to uplifting ethnic and low-income communities is central to his work.
Outside his professional role, Amien is a certified personal trainer with a deep passion for health and fitness. He thrives on building connections with individuals from all walks of life and diverse cultural backgrounds, contributing to the growth and sustainability of CMAA’s forward-thinking Adult Education and Workforce Development initiatives.
