As an intern, you will be working with a group of passionate people committed to improving the lives of low-income immigrants and refugees as a fellow member of the CMAA family. There will be no buying coffee or making photocopies - instead, you will be engaged in meaningful, substantive work, like counseling real clients on how to find employment. We guarantee that you will leave the internship with stronger professional skills and a deeper understanding of the field.
*Most of CMAA’s internships are unpaid but can be used for school credit.

Outreach and Administrative Coordinator
Oversee the program and policies regarding Home Care Aide involvement, program requirements, and benefits. Forging and fostering strategic partnerships and alliances. Oversee management of Home Care Aides functions within the Private Pay Department. Liaise with and support the finance director and finance team in monitoring and implementing financial functions of department, including preparing financial reports for the annual budget, allocating indirect costs, and creating vouchers for state and federal grants for private pay billing and finances. Compile statistics and data to prepare reports and records of financial information for In-Home Services, MCO’s, IDOA. Direct and compile department reports, and present to senior management
Requires: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing
Full-time position located at Chinese Mutual Aid Association, 1016 W. Argyle St., Chicago, IL 60640. 40 hours/week. Salary is $51,688.
