APAD is one of Discover Financial Services’ Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), dedicated to fostering professional growth, community, and inclusion for Asian and Asian-American employees. Since its inception, APAD has built mentorship programs, leadership development, and networking events that connect employees across roles and levels.
 

Among its many contributions, APAD has supported nonprofit partners through financial grants. Notably, APAD has awarded grant funding to Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) to support workforce development and youth programs—averaging $10,000 per grant. These partnerships reflect APAD’s mission not just to enrich its own members, but to extend support and opportunity outward into the larger community.
