In addition to being a trusted healthcare provider for Illinois, BCBSIL has been an instrumental partner of Chinese Mutual Aid Association in administering the Community Care Program, wherein nearly 300 CMAA homecare aides go into the homes of the elderly and disabled to offer basic needs service, such as bathing and meal preparation. With the support of partners such as BCBSIL, these essential workers have continued services throughout the quarantine, bravely supporting CMAA's most vulnerable population and healing to ensure their heal and well being during this crisis. Additionally, BCBSIL employees also generously volunteer their time and resources to support CMAA.
