
Eric Mah
Born and raised in Chicago, Eric Mah has spent his life in the area. Now retired, he had served as President of Gim Electric Co., Inc., an electrical contracting firm founded by his father in 1981. Under his watch Gim Electric Co., Inc. had steadily increased their customer base to include a diverse clientele list in both the public and private sector including the City of Chicago, City of Evanston, Chicago Transit Authority, Metra, Jewel-Osco, Whole Foods, Field Museum and several local universities.
A proud product of the Chicago Public School System, his educational background also includes a BSEE from Illinois Institute of Technology and was a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Illinois. Eric was a member of the City of Chicago Affirmative Action Board, a founding board member of the Asian American Action Fund of Greater Chicago and continues to support several local non profits.
Eric is married with two sons. He enjoys woodworking, leatherworking, photography and maintains a makers studio.
