Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) is excited to announce our 2026 event season! Here you will find pertinent CMAA event sponsorship information surrounding our annual events and how you can be a partner in these.
For almost 45 years, the organization has hosted events to celebrate the participants, supporters, and new friends alike. The most formal of our events, the Annual Dinner regularly draws 300+ people including local elected officials, C-suite executives, and other CMAA supporters. This event also showcases the accomplishments of leaders of social change.

​All of these events have their own unique flavor and play an integral role in supporting our efforts in assisting the AAPI, immigrant and refugee community here in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.

CMAA’s Annual Gala brings together community leaders, supporters, and partners for an inspiring evening of cultural celebration and recognition while raising critical support for programs that empower immigrants, refugees, and underserved families across Chicagoland.
Dim Sum & Then Some: The Uptown 5K/10K & Kids Dash
August 1st
CMAA’s annual Dim Sum 5K brings together thousands of runners, volunteers, and supporters in Chicago’s Argyle neighborhood for a lively race and community celebration that raises funds to support vital programs serving immigrant and refugee families across the region.
