Beyond business, Mr. Chen is a deeply generous and engaged member of the community. Every year during Chinese New Year and the Mid-Autumn Festival, he personally visits retired elderly residents across Chicago’s Chinatown and surrounding communities —
distributing thousands of festive gift baskets and honoring cultural tradition with dignity and care. His annual giving efforts have become a beloved symbol of unity and gratitude within the community.

Mr. Chen is also the Founder of the USA Guangdong Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Chicago Fujian Chamber of Commerce, and Vice President of the Chicago Chinatown Chamber of Commerce. He previously served two terms as President of the Hong Kong Club of Chicago, and sits on the Board of the U.S. Chicago Midwest Restaurant Alliance. His work
has earned him the USA Top Asian Businessman Award, recognizing both his entrepreneurial success and his lifelong commitment to uplifting others.
