Michael Chin is currently Vice President, Business Banking, with First Midwest Bank. Michael Chin has been in commercial banking since 1991.  In 2002 he received a 'business leader award' from State Treasurer Judy Baar Topinka and was involved with Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley's 21st Century Leadership Council. He also has served as board president of the Asian American Small Business Development Center.  

 

He was a past board president for the Chinese Mutual Aid Association, a past board president of OCA- Chicago Chapter, and a past board vice president for the Chicago Chinatown Chamber of Commerce. He is currently board vice chair for the Mercy Hospital Foundation.  Michael Chin was appointed to the State of Illinois Capital Development Board in August of 2004 and is the chair of the audit committee.
