Raymond Chin

2013 Duc Huang Founder's Award for Immigrant Success

Raymond Chin is a Chinese immigrant trained as an engineer. Chin’s experience as a project manager began while working for a sister company of Commonwealth Edison. Chin quickly made his mark in the Chicago real estate development arena working for Urban Investment Development Corp, Miglin-Beitler Management and Equitable Real Estate Management.

Chin founded his own firm, R. M. Chin & Associate, Inc in 1989. One of his early projects was repairing the freight tunnels in Chicago’s catastrophic flood in 1992.

Chin has also given back to the Chicago community earning a reputation for deadly efficiency as a fund-raiser for community organizations.
