Rowan Quinain Jr.

Event and Community Director

Amber Agave

Chicago born and bred, Rowan Quinain, Jr. wears many hats—and wears them well. By day, he serves as a Pro Consul at the British Consulate-General in Chicago and leads with purpose as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army. Additionally, he’s the dynamic Event and Community Director for Amber Agave, bringing people together one unforgettable gathering at a time.

Rowan recently leveled up in life, tying the knot with his amazing wife Kayla in August 2024. When he's not juggling diplomacy, duty, and dance cards, you’ll find him deep into video games (currently obsessed with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33), binge-watching and reviewing films, globetrotting, exploring Chicago's ever-evolving food scene, or raising a pixelated army of Digimon and Tamagotchis.

Before his current adventures, Rowan lived a whole other life as a professional dancer, performing with several Chicagoland dance companies. Basically, he's been choreographing cool moves—on stage and off—his whole life.

Notice: Beginning in December, CMAA programs will operate from temporary offices at 1112 W. Argyle St. and 4853 N. Broadway, and our permanent West Ridge Office (2424 W. Peterson Ave.).
