Wilson He’s journey from the South Side of Chicago to becoming a prominent community leader reflects his unwavering dedication to giving back to the neighborhoods that shaped him. Raised in Chinatown and Bridgeport, his passion for basketball and service was nurtured through the Chicago Dragons Athletic Association, which instilled values of teamwork and leadership. Through his deep involvement with the Dragons, Wilson organized major events, volunteered across the city, and eventually became a board member, helping launch the largest North American Chinese basketball tournament. His partnership with Project Vision brought mentorship-based basketball camps to underserved youth, while his leadership and volunteer programs empowered students to embrace civic engagement. 

 

Through the Chicago Dragons, he was able to secure a job with the Chicago Public Schools and eventually got an accounting degree at DePaul University with a Masters in Audit and Advisory. Now he works in the Internal Audit/Risk sector within the finance industry.
