WINSE WONG

Citizenship Coordinator

Winse began working at CMAA in 1999 as a front desk receptionist. In 2000, she transitioned to working in our family literacy program, engaging with children and their parents, and then in 2001, became our Citizenship Case Worker. In this role, Winse assists immigrants through the U.S. naturalization process by completing and compiling the required application documents, connecting clients to Citizenship classes, and answering questions about the process.

Winse immigrated to the United States from Hong Kong in 1991. As an immigrant herself, she is aware of how difficult it can be to navigate a new country. She loves to help new immigrants and their families adjust to life in the U.S. and realize their dreams of becoming U.S. citizens. Winse’s first language is Cantonese, and she has learned Mandarin from clients while working at CMAA.

FUN FACT | Winse is an avid gardener; she grows Chinese vegetables including winter melon and tomato peppers.
