David Macdonald has been an IT Coordinator at CMAA since the spring of 2022. In this role, David responds to technical issues raised by CMAA’s administrative staff and tackles projects related to the acquisition, maintenance, and replacement of CMAA technology. David is also the little sibling of CMAA’s Youth Department Manager (Emma Macdonald!), which is how David became personally involved with CMAA and its mission.

David received a BA in Mathematics from Grinnell College in the spring of 2021 and moved to Chicago the same year. In between semesters, David also worked at the college’s IT department as a Technology Support Specialist.

FUN FACT | Prior to working at CMAA, David was a full time baker.
