Jenny first got involved with CMAA as a mentor for our young women mentorship program, Young Woman Warriors in 1999.  She came to Y.W.W. looking for ways to affect social change and to empower young women of all ages, races, and social status. 

 

As this year's Board President, Jenny hopes to continue improving and expanding programs within CMAA, fostering relationships and collaborations with other organizations while addressing and serving the growing needs of Uptown communities. 

 

Her passion for the Young Woman Warriors Program is apparent in the time and effort she contributes to the program outside of her professional obligations and she hopes to continue mentoring young women by building a strong network of support within Y.W.W. and CMAA. In the 15 years, Jenny has been a Y.W.W. mentor, she has seen 5 generations of girls find their voices, grow into their power, and give back to the community by becoming mentors themselves.  She is very proud to be part of a movement that empowers young women through friendship, support, and advocacy.

 

FUN FACT | Jenny tries to find balance in life through playing beach volleyball, knitting, and spending time with 11 nieces and nephews.
