Lindsay is a Career Coach in the Workforce Development Department at CMAA. She provides one-on-one consultation to job-seeking clients and supports those pursuing suitable employment opportunities. Lindsay has served the language needs of newly immigrated Ethiopians through the Ethiopian Community Center in Washington, DC. She has promoted the interests of Palestinian refugees in Nablus, Palestine and has also enhanced the well-being of Malawian and Zimbabwean low-income students in Cape Town, South Africa.
Before joining the CMAA family, Lindsay served as an Academic Director and School Director where she collaborated with various non-profit organizations in her professional career such as Young Men, Young Minds in Las Vegas; Big Brothers Big Sisters of America in Miami, FL; and Intiwawa in Arequipa, Peru. She was a recipient of the Howard Zinn Education Award for innovative teaching, a USAC Academic Leadership Scholarship, and AUA’s Mosaic teaching fellowship.
FUN FACT | Lindsay has hiked part of the Appalachian Trail and played college basketball in Los Angeles.
